News2026 NFL Draft: Ravens Land Vega Ioane and Reload Around Lamar
With 11 picks in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Ravens solved their biggest offensive line problem and added four pass-catchers for Lamar Jackson. Here's every pick, graded.

After missing the first week of voluntary workouts, Lamar Jackson took the field under new head coach Jesse Minter and new OC Declan Doyle. By all accounts, he looked sharp.

The Baltimore Ravens kicked off their second week of Organized Team Activities with a sight that made the entire fanbase breathe easy: Lamar Jackson, on the field, working with the new offensive staff.
Jackson had missed the first week of OTAs, communicating ahead of time with new head coach Jesse Minter that he'd be absent for a few days. His return on Tuesday, May 26th, set the tone for what promises to be a pivotal offseason.
The 2026 season marks a significant transition for Baltimore. After years under John Harbaugh, the Ravens hired defensive-minded Jesse Minter as head coach and brought in first-year offensive coordinator Declan Doyle to run the offense. The task: rebuild the chemistry that saw Baltimore fall from the NFL's No. 1 offense in 2024 to 16th in an injury-plagued 2025 campaign.
"Lamar's been one of our leaders of the offseason program," Minter told reporters after practice.
Jackson returns with a revamped receiver room. Zay Flowers remains the primary target and is entering his prime. The 2026 draft added rookie wide receivers Ja'Kobi Lane and Elijah Sarratt, plus tight ends Matt Hibner and Josh Cuevas, four new weapons to build chemistry with before training camp.
The biggest storyline heading into 2026 is the interior offensive line. Baltimore's inconsistent guard play was cited as a major reason for the offensive regression in 2025. The Ravens addressed it directly: with the 14th overall pick, they selected Penn State guard Olaivavega "Vega" Ioane, the first guard drafted in franchise history at that range, drawing comparisons to Quenton Nelson.
Ioane has signed his rookie deal and is expected to start from Day 1.
If Jackson stays healthy and the new offensive staff can implement a system that plays to his strengths, the Ravens are as dangerous as anyone in the AFC. The talent is there. The hunger is there. And Lamar Jackson showing up early in OTAs suggests his focus is exactly where it needs to be.
Flock On.
