NewsLamar Jackson Returns to Ravens OTAs — Ready for 2026
After missing the first week of voluntary workouts, Lamar Jackson took the field under new head coach Jesse Minter and new OC Declan Doyle. By all accounts, he looked sharp.

Eric DeCosta walked into the 2026 NFL Draft with a clear mission: fix the interior offensive line that contributed to Baltimore's offensive regression in 2025, and add weapons around Lamar Jackson. With 11 picks, the Ravens did exactly that.
The crown jewel of the class. Ioane is the first guard Baltimore has ever drafted in the top 15, and the comparisons to Quenton Nelson are not hyperbole. At Penn State, Ioane dominated Big Ten competition with rare combination of power and athleticism.
DeCosta said it plainly: "We needed to fix the interior, and Vega was the best player available who addressed that need."
Grade: A
The Ravens used later picks to build out Lamar Jackson's receiving corps:
- Ja'Kobi Lane, WR: A big-bodied target the Ravens have been missing since their Super Bowl window opened. Lane provides a contested-catch option in the red zone. - Elijah Sarratt, WR: Speed and route running. A true complement to Zay Flowers on the perimeter. - Matt Hibner, TE: Blocking-first tight end, essential to the Ravens run-heavy attack. - Josh Cuevas, TE: More of a receiving threat, giving Doyle's offense a dual tight end look.
Baltimore's 2026 class earned high marks across draft analysts. DeCosta targeted the team's genuine needs without reaching, and every player selected has a clear path to contributing in Year 1.
The offensive line question, the one that haunted the 2025 season, now has an answer. And Lamar Jackson has four new pass-catchers to build chemistry with heading into training camp.
Flock On.
